Challenge #52 - Colour Challenge: Chocolate and Roses

Hello CSAYL Friends!! Thank you to those who played along in last week's "Paper Piecing" challenge. It was a lot of fun seeing all your fabulous cards! This week's challenge is called "Chocolate and Roses"! Chocolate and Roses. . . for Christmas? Well, it's color combo challenge and the colors are "brown and pink/or red". Now it makes a lot more sense, huh?

They're not traditional Christmas colors but this is a challenge blog so we do need to step out of the box once in a while. Besides, many of the Christmas decors and gift wraps are not your traditional green and red colors. I've seen purple Christmas gift wraps and decors...aren't you glad the color challenge doesn't involve purple?

To play along. . insert the link to your card below (click on the blue "add your link" button). If you are unable to link it, please comment this post with the link to your card. If you upload your cards on SCS or PCP, please add the key word:
CSAYL and the title "CSAYL52". We hope you'll play along this week.

We'll be voting on the participants' cards and the winning participant will be invited to be a guest designer for the following week's challenge. Good luck!!!

We can't wait to see what you come up with. Hope you'll play along this week!!

Our winner for Challenge #49 "Easel Card" challenge is Karen of Kaz-za's Crafty Corner. Congratulations Karen!! She will be our guest designer for challenge #53!! Click Here for Karen's winning Easel card!!

Guest Designer

I live in London and work full time as a music teacher, teaching flute and clarinet in several schools. I've always enjoyed making things, and discovered card-making 4 years ago. My favourite technique is stamping, and I love pretty papers. I started my blog nearly 2 years ago, and since then have become addicted to card-making challenges, and am now a member of four design teams. My favourite type of card to make are Christmas cards, and I make them throughout the year...so I'm thrilled to be guest designing for Christmas Stampin' All Year Long this week!

Thanks for having me!
