Welcome Family and Friends

Welcome to Grandma's! My children love to visit their Grandparents home! We are lucky to have two of them live close to us through the winter months. It's always a treat to run down the road to visit Grandpa and Grandma. I love it as much as my kids do, especially when there are so many fun creations to see! My children are blessed with talented Grandmothers!
Grandparents are special people! My children are always welcomed with loving arms and a warm smile to greet them, along with a few sunny delights and marsh mellows!
It's always fun to see the treasures that decorate each room. Grandma makes everything beautiful!

This home is truly blessed with loving Grandparents!

My April completion

Here is my April ornie. It was fun to do on some red 14 count aida that I received a few years ago from France in an exchange. The design is stitched with DMC threads and the size finished is about 4 by 4 inches. Fat Flake Juggling Snowman! Another one done for 2009 Christmas cards.

A Gift Of JOY!

I received this darling gift in the mail yesterday from my crafty niece Jill!

This cute handcrafted purse is embellished with everything I love! Open the purse, you will find 10 adorable handmade cards inside! What a great gift! I love it! Thank you Jill!
You sent a lot of "JOY" my way!

I am grateful you are in our family!

Jill shares many talents, she plays the piano, organ, violin and can rock out on the drums! Rock on to Jill-- Your gift is certainly from the heart! Thank you!

A Dolly sized Pillow and Blanket!

I love the alphabet fabric by Moda!
This little doll quilt is lined with soft pink fleece and tied with embroidery floss! It measures 16 1/2 inches by 22 inches! It is made with three coordinating pink and brown fabrics! My daughter loves the little pillow!

You can make these little pillows in ten minutes or less! There are two seams and a blanket stitch for closure of the pillow. The pillow cases are the fun part!

These little pillows and blankets are so fun to make and loved by little girls and dolls!
I almost want to make one for myself to tote around, forget the dolls!
Enjoy!
