Early Show weatherman weds in Connecticut

Dave Price, weatherman on CBS' The Early Show, was married August 7th to girlfriend Jacqueline Klinger at their home in Weston, Connecticut. Guests like Katie Couric and Erica Hill, both of CBS, were in attendance.

"It's really great to be able to come home to someone special now," Price tells People. "It just puts everything in perspective and balances everything out. I'll be forever grateful that I met Jax."

The couple are currently on a honeymoon safari in Kenya, Zanzibar, and Tanzania, and will finish off with a beach vacation in Israel later this month.

Probably future NFLer proposes during home game

Colt McCoy, quarterback for the University of Texas Longhorns football team in Austin, Texas, proposed on Monday, January 11th to his girlfriend, sports reporter Rachel Glandorf.

Directing her attention to the scoreboard at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, McCoy had the electronic sign, in Longhorns burnt orange and white, read, "Rachel, I love you! Will You Marry Me? Colt."

Glandorf, who currently works for Austin's CBS affiliate, and McCoy, who was the 2009 Heisman Trophy runner-up, have not announced a wedding date. It will be the first marriage for both.

Weather Channel meteorologist engaged live on air

During a live segment on December 30th, The Weather Channel's meteorologist Kim Perez was in the middle of talking about weather systems in south Florida when her boyfriend, Kenesaw, Georgia police seargeant Marty Cunningham, stormed the set.

Dropping down on one knee, the prospective groom told Perez, "We've been talking about this for a long time, and I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So I'm asking you today, will you please marry me?" Behind Perez, the weather map morphed into a graphic that read "Will You Marry Me?"

Perez responded. "Yes, I will. I love you, I don't believe this! I love you, Marty Cunningham."
