More February Ornaments

I stitched this one twice because I wanted to see how it looked on two different fabrics. The design is Christmas Tree 2007 by Jeanette Douglas from the 2007 JCS Ornament edition. The one on the left is stitched on 28ct Raw Opalescent. The one on the right is stitched on 32 ct linen. Sorry for the blurry picture. If I have time later I will take a better picture and replace it. This ornament is a quick stitch (about 5 hours each). I stitched it as designed except for removing the year and then centering "Christmas".

August ornie

This is "Christmas Tree 2007" by Jeannette Douglas. The pattern is found in the October 2007 JCS. I do not know what type of material I stitched it on because it was tagless in my stash, but it felt like there may be a little bit of wool in it.
My photo taking is not the greatest. I just reviewed the post and realized that you may have to click on the photo to see the design properly. Sorry!

Dani's April Ornament

No, your eyes aren't fooling you if this ornament looks familiar... yes I've stitched it for a second time this year. The frist time I stitched the ornament was through a RR I was in. This second time was from a kit I bought almost a year ago from Jeannette Douglas.

Woodland Joy and Peace Needleroll

I didn't stitch an ornament this week-end, but I finished two off.
First the ornament I stitched last month: Woodland Joy by Something in Common, finished as a pinkeep.

And an ornament I had already stitched last year: Peace Needleroll by Jeannette Douglas from the JCS Ornament Issue 2004:

A Second For January and a First for February

This first ornament is a Freebie from The Drawn Thread called First Snow. I finished this a few weeks ago, but the original photo I took was pretty crummy. I re-photographed it today when I photographed today's ornament finish.

I stitched First Snow on a Silkweavers hand dyed I think its Spring Breeze, instead of making the snow flakes out of Smyrna Crosses I used Mill Hill Beads. The threads are a combination of DMC, WDW, and GAST. I used what I had on hand.

This second ornament I just did the finishing on today and finished the stitching on Thursday. This is Jeannette Douglas's Hope Needleroll Ornament from the JCS 06 Ornament issue. This is stitched using all the required threads, beads, etc. It is so pretty and very enjoyable to stitch! Jeannette really knows how to use specialty stitches and fibres for maximum effect.
