TMZ is reporting that Paul Teutel, Jr., one of the star's of TLC's American Choppers, was married to girlfriend Rachel Biester on Saturday, August 21st at the Bonnet Island Estate in Manahwakin, New Jersey. There was 135 guests in attendance, but not Teutel's father and costar, Paul Sr., who skipped the ceremony over the pair's ongoing legal battles - Sr. is suing his son for over $1 million because Jr. won't sell Dad his stock in the family's company, OC Choppers, Inc. In spite of this, Teutel Sr. was reportedly invited to the wedding. Jr's costar and younger brother, Mikey, was best man.
The couple - who met when Biester guested on an episode of American Choppers and whose relaionship has been featured since on the show, crossed over to fellow TLC reality shyows Say Yes to the Dress and Cake Boss for help putting their wedding day together. Biester selected a Pnina Tornai wedding gown on a recently aired episode of Say Yes to the Dress, and the folks at Cake Boss created a six-tier pink velvet wedding cake with lemon buttercream frosting.
At the end of the ceremony the newlyweds released hundreds of butterflies into the air as a string quartet performed The Beatles' "Here Comes the Sun." The wedding also featured $28,000 in floral arrangements.
An upcoming episode of American Choppers will almost certainly focus on the wedding day; stay tuned!
