All the projects are from the book "Crafting Christmas Gifts" by Tone Finnanger.

Crafting ornaments

This is my latest ornaments. They are crafting projects from Tilda's "Crafting Christmas Gifts" book.
I have quilted a simple heart, the fabric is a Red Rooster Gentle Christmas Green Garland/Red Dot Stripe on Beige.

And these are six gingerbreads, with various decorations. The buttons are from Shelley's Buttons.

Home - July ornament



This is my late July ornament. It's Home, from Heart in Hand.
I have stitched it on a 28ct permin linen color Monet and used the WDW threads.

The back fabric is a Mumm Cozy Northwest Christmas Motif Toss on Blue.

Alphabet Tree

This is my second May ornament.
It's Alphabet Tree, an old freebie by The Prairie Schooler.
I have stitched it on a 14ct cream aida and used the Carrie's Creations' Joy Noel thread for the alphabet, DMC 500 and 666 for the backstitch.
I've used a Victoria's silk ribbon named Autumn Leaves to hang it.
It was very quick and funny to stitch!

The back fabric is a Mumm Winter Whimsy Reindeer Frolic on tangerine.

House on Holly Hill

This is my May ornament.
It's House on Holly Hill, from the book Peppermint and Holly by Blackbird Designs.
I have stitched it on a 28ct Cashel linen Fern from Silkweaver and used the Weeks Dye Works threads requested, but changed the word on the left.









The back fabric is a Kogut Wintertime Friends Labels Multi on Tangerine.

Veronica's April ornament

This is my April ornament.
It's Piti Kado, a freebie from Lune d'Automne, as a snowflake.
I have used two DMC threads: a strand of E5200 of Pearlescent Effects collection and a strand of E940 of Glow-In-The-Dark Effects; the fabric is a 28ct Cashel linen Millenium blue by Zweigart.
Actually, it shines in the dark.

The back fabric is a Mumm Winter Whimsy Label Panel Multi on Green.

My March ornament

This is my March ornament.
It's Reindeer, from JBW Designs,
of The French Country Collection.
I have used Crescent Colours' Belle Soie Rose of Sharon on a 32ct Belfast linen Expression Elegance by Silkweaver.

It was very quick to be stitched, and I have realized it on Friday; yesterday I've quilted it.

The back fabric is a Mumm Winter Whimsy Label Panel Multi on Green.

My second February ornament

This is my second February ornament.
It's Little Green Tree, from Bent Creek,
of the leaflet #4013 "The Christmas Collection".
I have used DMC Variations 4200 for the red, 4070 for the lighter green, 4140 for the brown, and the solid 935 for the darkest green.
I've also applied three Shelley's buttons.

It was very quick to be stitched, and I have realized it yesterday; today I've quilted it.









The back fabric is a Mumm Cozy Northwest Christmas Flannel Wildlife Silhouettes on Red Check.

First Friday ornament

This is my first February ornament.
It's Seasons Greetings, from Glory Bee,
published on a JCS Christmas Ornaments issue.
I have used DMC Variations 4210 for the red, 4050 for the green and 4160 for the white.
I've also applied a Shelley's button.

It was very quick to be stitched, and I have realized it on train last Friday; today I've quilted it.


The back fabric is a Mumm Home Winter/Holidays label panel on green.

My third January ornament

This is my third January ornament.
It's Merry Christmas, from Glory Bee,
published on a JCS Christmas Ornaments issue.
I have used DMC Variations 4210 for the red, 4050 for the green and 4160 for the white.

It was very quick to be stitched, and I have realized it yesterday afternoon.


The back fabric is a Mumm Winter Whismy label pannel on green.

Dash Away All

This is my second ornament.
I stitched Dash Away All, a complimentary design from Great Bear Canada.
I used 16ct white aida, DMC Variation 4140 for the reindeer and Crescent Colours' Chili Pepper for the nose and the phrase.





I have realized it very quickly, yesterday night, and quilted it today; the fabric is a Debbie Mumm Home Fires Winter/Holiday.

My first finish of 2007

Hello girls,
thi is my first finish of the new year: I stitched Britty Puppy Christmas, from Brittercup Designs.
It has been published in the 2006 JCS Ornament issue, and it it the companion of Britty Kitty Christmas I have already stitched.
I used a cream linen, DMC threads for the silhouette and the sock, GAST threads for the hat and the heart.


I have completed the needlework on Friday 12th and quilted it on Sunday; the fabric is a Debbie Mumm Home Fires Winter/Holiday.
