British pop star Cheryl Cole, who married English footballer Ashley Cole in a $1.5 million ceremony in 2006, has been spotted recently without her diamond engagement ring. The move has led to rumours that the couple's marriage, rocked by reports that he had cheated in 2008, was in trouble.But the former Cheryl Tweedy is adamant that she only removes her ring in the name of fashion, telling Britain's Glamour magazine, "Do people really think I'm going to have an argument and take my ring off? It was a fashion statement more than a marriage statement. As my wedding ring is yellow it doesn't go with everything."
