On Sunday, January 3, 2010, Canadian actors Don McKellar and Tracy Wright were "Finally Married" (according to the writing on the back of the car that escorted the newlyweds on their wedding day) in front of about 40 close friends and family members in a ceremony in their home city of Toronto.
The groom wore a black suit and charcoal grey tie. The bride, who has lived with McKellar since the early 90s, eschewed tradition and wore a red cocktail dress and a veil.
McKellar is well known for work on Canadian television shows like Odd Job Jack and the critically-acclaimed Slings and Arrows. He also adapted the screenplay for the 2008 film Blindness, starring Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo. Wright frequently costars in Canadian works with McKellar.
