His ex-girlfriend, British actress Emily Blunt, is set to wed The Office star John Krasinski this year, and now crooner Michael Buble has announced his engagement to Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato.In November, Buble presented Lopilato, his girlfriend of about a year, with a diamond ring he codesigned with Vancouver-based jeweler Minichiello. "He proposed in Argentina, in front of Lu's whole family," a close pal tells Star. "They both cried — they're ecstatic."
Following the Argentine proposal, the couple headed to Maui for New Year's, where Buble was reportedly introducing Lopilato to everyone and telling friends, "We're engaged."
The couple are reportedly eyeing a wedding date in 2011. This will be the first marriage for both. Apart from Blunt, Buble was previously engaged to Canadian dancer Debbie Titmuss until November 2005.
