In a blog post just after the holidays, Carrie Underwood told fans on her official website about her holidays - lots of good eats, cozy socks, and she said, "I think you all know what Santa left under the tree for me this year...a fiance! Woo hoo! Little Ace [Underwood's dog] is finally going to have a dad! We all couldn't be happier!!!"Underwood announced their engagement to Ottawa Senators' hockey forward Mike Fisher on December 21st, then debuted the ring at Fisher's NHL home game that night. No wedding plans have been announced for the couple, who were introduced in October 2008 through mutual friends. This is the first marriage for both.
