Newest ornaments

I hadn't stitched many ornaments in a while, but 2 weekends ago, I got the ornament bug. This is what was born from the weekend. The one in the upper left is from Prairie Schooler and the 97or 98 JCS ornie issue. The upper right one is a Cricket Collection freebie from their website, and the one on the bottom is from LK Tiny Tidings from this year. The upper 2 are for exhanges. I think they all turned out really well. Thanks for looking!

Just Joining

Okay I'm very new to this so if I make mistakes please do let me know. I have decided to stitch all the Shepherds Bush ornaments from JCS ornament magazines. That is eight ornaments. I also intend to stitch a hardanger angel for the top of the tree. Thanks to Jennifer for answering so quickly and inviting me to join.

Going on......

....with some freebies from there. I am not so happy with the snowmen, would have been better to finish them in circles. I will give them away to a family with two little boys...

And then two ornaments in red from JCS

August ornie

This is "Christmas Tree 2007" by Jeannette Douglas. The pattern is found in the October 2007 JCS. I do not know what type of material I stitched it on because it was tagless in my stash, but it felt like there may be a little bit of wool in it.
My photo taking is not the greatest. I just reviewed the post and realized that you may have to click on the photo to see the design properly. Sorry!
Finally I can show you a picture of my ornament. It was a big fun though I didn't finish it in time.... No need for the finishing right now so this will have to wait till autumn probably. ;-)

It was a big fun stitching this ornament and knowing you all are stitching ornaments at the same time....OK some of you stitched a few hours earlier and some a few hours later :-))) ....but I stitched for a longer time..LOL

Just Cross Stitch Issue Ocotber 2006
Started 01-27-2007 and finished 02-01-2007
I used the asked for threads with one exception. Instead of Crescent Colors roasted chestnut I used WDW Chestnut .... and I love it :-)

started today

Hello,
I started stitching my first ornie with the group today. I picked all the needed colors...switched one to a fiber I prefered more and changed the asked for fabric to a higher count of the same color. I'm not sure if I will get it done today and tomorrow so I will post the next pic when stitching is finished :-)
It's a design from the Just Cross Stitch October 2006 edition (I'm not quite sure at this moment...)
