During the summer

I stitched these small ornaments during the last months. And now they are finally finished. :-) The designs come from "The Prairie Schooler" ("Christmas Miniatures"). Hope you'll enjoy them!

Designs: Cranberry Christmas and Starry night (The Prairie Schooler). I used Caron-Threads for the first, Anchor and Madeira for the second.

My January "ornament"

I stitched a design by "With my needle" (Just cross stitch, Christmas ornaments, Special Christmas Issue 2003 (pillow) und 2006 (scissors fob)) using an Anchor thread. It was a birthday gift (exchange).

... ornament in this year. I hope it will be more next year!

This is "Christmas spot sampler" (eef). The recommended threads are not in my stash, so I used Anchor-threads, one over two on Edinburgh-linen (Zweigart, antique white).

First snow

Finally I have to show another christmas ornament: "First snow", a Drawn-Thread-Freebie. It's a christmas gift for my stitching friend Anja. I hope you'll like it too and wish you all a merry Christmas.

I think, you all know this design, but I love it! (Little House Needleworks , Just Cross Stitch 2004 Special Christmas Issue) I used the recommendet Anchor-threads and a cashel-linen.

March in April

I know I'm late again. I stitched this ornament in March(!), but now it's finally finished. It's Emblem of friendship (Louise Henderson, Cherished Stitches; JCSCO 2006), finished as/like(?) a pinkeep. I like these quaker-designs very much. They are so clear and simple but never boring.
