Happy Friday! Debbie here. Today I am your hostess. I get a lot of my inspiration (esp colors) from Pottery Barn. I love their colors in just about everything. This week's challenge is to create a card from this picture.
There are 3 rules to the challenge:
1. use colors from the picture
2. leave plenty of white/ivory space
3. add a bird to your card
Here is what I created:
To play along, insert the link to your card via Mr. Linky below. If you are unable to link through Mr. Linky, please comment this post with the link to your card. If you upload your cards on SCS or PCP, please add the key word: CSAYL and the title "CSAYL44". We hope you'll play along.
We'll be voting on the participants' cards and the winning participant will be invited to be a guest designer for the following week's challenge. Good luck!!!

Guest Designer
Kate Wiles of Down Right Crafty
Hi I am Kate Wiles, I live in New Waltham, near Cleethorpes, on the East Coast of the United Kingdom at the mouth of the River Humber, with my husband, eldest son and my beautiful dog Star.
I suppose I have crafted since the age of about 8. Starting knitting with my mum and grandma, then crocheting and from there to cake decorating, flower arranging and making ballgowns. I had a spell with the husband decorating the house windows and in October 2008 when the husband took up fishing I decided I needed to find a new hobby to keep me occupied. I chose card making, which rapidly turned into attending scrap book classes at a local shop. I attended some card classes learning lots of techniques and became addicted to stamping, altered art and scrapbooking. I am also now I suppose addicted to blog challenges.
My small box of tricks grew to taking over a full corner of the lounge, at which point my husband very kindly converted one of my unused bedrooms into my very own craft room. This was christened the "Beach Hut" due to its sand, sea and beach hut colours. I spend many an hour in there enjoying myself.
I am so excited to have been chosen for the challenge 44 Guest Designer and hope you all enjoy the challenge. I know I did.
