A Little Apple Inspiration

Welcome Friends!
A little Apple Inspiration for you!
You're the APPLE of my eye!
(Carmel Apples are from Country Living)

There is something wonderful about apples!
I'm inspired by the color, shape and beauty!
Apples go with everything!
Apples reminde me of Fall.
I miss seeing Johnny Appleseed coming home in my
kids backpacks!

Do you decorate with Green Apples?

I love green Apples with Pumpkins!
It seems, I can't display a pumpkin without a green apple.

Green apples are a easy accessory to decorate with.
The color makes them WONDERFUL!

Yellow Lemmon are great too!
Fall is so exciting!

Do you love Green Apples?
Do  you love the smell of Apple Pie Candles?
I feel new energy!

I have something to share with you next week!
(More Back To School)
PS.  The Back to School Fairy did arrive, it was GREAT!

Have A BEAUTIFUL Day!

Fabric Rosette Necklace

Welcome!
NO SEW Jewelry Rosette Fabric Necklace.
(I'm re posting this post again.)
It all started as a Birthday present for a special violin teacher.
I was simply making rosette flowers to add to a beaded necklace.
My inspiration grew to a fabric necklace to complement the beaded necklace.
Here are a few NEW ideas!

I see the fabric rosette necklaces at clothing boutiques everywhere.
You can make them and save yourself a lot of money!
The color choices of fabrics and embellishments are endless!

1.  choose a necklace that is fairly long with double chains.
I had the pins and jewels on hand, there are so many different options with jewelry.

2. Make a fabric rosette flower to complement your beaded necklace.
Here is what I did:
I cut my fabric length to approx. 4" X 15".  I pressed a rolled hem and started rolling
the fabric, the trick is to turn the fabric as you twist.
Glue your fabric into place with a glue gun or tack it with a needle and thread.
I added jewels in the center of the rosette flower and pins to the back.
I made three flowers and pinned the rolled flower to my rolled scarf tied with knots.
(I made a knot every 3-4 inches)
I love to make belts from rayon fabrics, they are also great with blue jeans.
ENJOY!
Happy Birthday Dear Friend!

Oh The Places You'll Go

Hello Friends!
More Back To School fun stuff to share!

A favorite Dr. Seuss book, loved by many!
(I Found the idea Here:  Pinterest-I added a few more ideas to it)
Throughout the years of your childs education,
secretly give your child's teacher this book to sign
at the end of each school year.
Present this gift/book to your son/daughter on
Graduation Day(Senior Year) from High School!

I'm going to include
a picture of my child's first day of Kindergarten, along with  pictures of their teachers throughout the years.
If you have missed a few years, it's never to late!
I'm back tracking a few years for my youngest one!

I love this gift idea for the TEACHER on The First Day Of School!

1.  I love the cake.... I found it on pinterest!
Maybe, I will attempt one, wish me luck.
2.  Great picture idea for the first day of school.

I'm still working on Back To School Fairy Surprises.
How about you??
(Scroll down and you will find it.)
Enjoy!

School Days and Notes of Appreciaton

Hello Friends!
It's hard to believe the end of another school year is coming to an end!
Here are a few more Teacher Gifts that I have shared in previous posts.
This one is my favorite. I think hand written notes of appreciation are the best!
You may recognize these wood hearts from Christmas and Valentines.
They work well for a lot of different occassions.
They are certainly from The Heart!

A hand written note is placed in a pocket on the reverse side of heart.
Personalize your heart with the mini chalkboards.
(The mini chalkboards were found at JoAnn's)

(Wood Hearts are embellished with decorative scrapbook paper, ribbon etc. )

The mini composition books are from Walmart in the office supply isle.
I think they are also great for writing notes of appreciation to your child's teacher
or favorite school memories.

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's day!
I sure did!
I love the cards and handmade gifts that my kids make, they are priceless treasures!

It seems, as though, hand written notes are becoming more and more a thing of the past.
From the heart, write someone a hand written note today.
Post It Notes work well!
This one made me smile!
(I found it on my pillow)
Thank you for your emails regarding Teacher Gifts!
Welcome new followers!

My Magnificent and Marvelous Teacher

                       Welcome...More Teacher Appreciation Gifts!
You may remember the M&M Poem from last year.
You can see what we did with the poem last year HERE.
(Thank you to my friend Sandy)
This craft can also be used for Mother's Day

When I came across the clear mini plastic paint cans from Michael's Craft Store.
I couldn't resist using the Teacher M&M poem once again!

We decorated our cans with Teacher Stickers from Stickopotamus Back To Class SPSN03.
(The stickers may no longer be available, they are from several years ago).
One large bag of M&M's 42 Ounce size (Walmart) will fill two cans.

We attached My Magnificent and Marvelous Teacher poem to the cards along with a note.

Green is for the inspiration you give me each day.
Blue is for your patience in showing me the way.
Orange is for your warmth and caring style.
Yellow is for the way you always make me smile.
Red is for my life that you have touched this year.

You place knowledge in my hands,

that melt into my heart and live forever!
You're a "Magnificent" & "Marvelous" Teacher!
Thank you for being my M&M!

(The poem can also be used for Mother's Day)
I would make one change-
Red is for my life that you have touched throughout the years.
Enjoy!
