Here's a seasonal display based on "make it simple" rule of holiday decorating! Not only is it a snap to put together but it's versatile and long-lasting! With a few quick changes you can convert it from a Fall arrangement to a Christmas arrangement!
Gather The Goods:
20-by-14 inch tray
3 (3-by 7) inch pillar candles
3 clear glass hurricane lamps
florist foam
water picks(from craft stores or florists) if needed for fresh materials
Seasonal materials pumpkins and other gourds, apples, colorful leaves, pine cones, etc.
Arrange candles on a tray, slip hurricane lamps over the candles.
Add an assortment of colorful gourds and pumpkins around the hurricane lamps, placing larger gourds or pumpkins near the center and filling in with smaller ones. Build a second layer for added interest!
Slip or tuck the stems of colorful fall leaves (use water picks if needed) and berries or other decorative fall picks around the hurricane lamps!
